Ingredients
8 large garlic bread rolls or baguette slices
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb fresh lump crabmeat, flaked
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, finely sliced
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and ground pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C);
Cut tops off each bread roll and hollow out the centers to form cups;
In a bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, Parmesan, salt, and pepper to create garlic butter;
Strew garlic butter into each bread cup;
Combine crabmeat, shrimp, Gruyère cheese, cream cheese, and green onions in another bowl;
Spoon the seafood mixture into the bread cups, pressing down to pack firmly;
Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and bubbling;
Sprinkle parsley on top before serving.
Notes
Use fresh, thawed crab and shrimp for best flavor;
For a lighter option, substitute Gruyère with reduced-fat cheese;
Assemble ahead and refrigerate before baking to save time;
Let cool slightly before serving to keep the filling inside.
