- 2 cups Himalayan pink salt, food-grade coarse crystals
- 1 gallon warm filtered water, 98-104°F
- 3 tablespoons dried lavender buds
- 2 tablespoons ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons chamomile flowers
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons magnesium oil
- 8–10 drops eucalyptus essential oil, therapeutic grade
Instructions
- Pour 1 gallon of filtered water into a large stainless steel pot.
- Heat the water to 98-104°F for optimal mineral absorption.
- Add 2 cups coarse Himalayan pink salt to the warm water.
- Stir continuously until the salt dissolves completely.
- Combine the ground ginger, turmeric powder, and cayenne pepper in a small mixing bowl.
- Add the spice blend to the warm pink salt water.
- Stir gently to distribute the spices evenly throughout the solution.
- Add the dried lavender buds and chamomile flowers.
- Stir for 2 minutes, ensuring the herbs are fully submerged.
- Pour in the magnesium oil.
- Add the eucalyptus essential oil.
- Mix carefully until the oil is evenly distributed.
- Allow the solution to cool slightly to a comfortable soaking temperature.
- Transfer the mixture to a large basin or soaking container.
- Immerse the affected area completely in the solution.
- Soak for 20-30 minutes.
- Remove the affected area from the soak and pat skin dry gently.
- Allow residual minerals to remain on the skin for continued absorption.
Notes
Use food-grade Himalayan pink salt only, not decorative salt. Keep water between 98-104°F and avoid very hot water. Start with ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper if you have sensitive skin.
