Instructions
- Measure the ground turmeric into a medium glass bowl.
- Add the ground cinnamon to the turmeric and stir thoroughly.
- Pour in the ground ginger and mix until the color becomes uniform.
- Add the black pepper powder directly to the bowl.
- Stir vigorously for at least one full minute to distribute the black pepper evenly.
- Use the back of a spoon to break up any small clumps.
- Sprinkle the ground cloves across the spice mixture.
- Add the ground nutmeg carefully.
- Finish with the ground cardamom.
- Stir thoroughly until the blend reaches perfect uniformity.
- Taste a tiny pinch to confirm the spices are evenly distributed.
- Transfer the finished blend into a clean glass jar with an airtight lid.
- Label the jar with the date created.
- Store in a cool, dark cupboard away from direct sunlight, heat, the stove, and the oven.
