Ingredients
- 12 sheets Rice Paper (standard spring roll size)
- 1 lb Ground Chicken (can substitute with minced tofu)
- 2 cups Shredded Cabbage (Napa or Savoy work best)
- 1 cup Carrot (grated or julienned)
- 1 tbsp Ginger/Garlic (freshly minced is ideal)
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (use tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
Instructions
- Combine ground chicken, cabbage, carrots, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
- Submerge a sheet of rice paper in lukewarm water for five seconds until pliable. Place on a flat surface, add one tablespoon of filling, fold sides inward, and roll tightly to seal.
- Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place rolls seam-side down and sear until deep golden brown, turning periodically.
Notes
Use lukewarm water for dipping to prevent wrappers from becoming overly gummy. Keep heat at steady medium to cook filling through without burning the exterior. Avoid overcrowding the skillet to maintain crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days and reheat in an air fryer for 5-7 minutes.
