Ingredients
8 large round lumpia wrappers
200g ground chicken
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 egg, lightly beaten (optional, for binding)
Instructions
Combine ground chicken, carrots, cabbage, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a mixing bowl.
Cut each lumpia wrapper into 16 small squares (1.5×1.5 inches) using kitchen scissors.
Place a small spoonful of chicken mixture on each wrapper square.
Fold the corners inward to form a triangle packet. Seal edges with a bit of water or egg wash (if using).
Arrange packets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly brush with oil if desired for extra crispiness.
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Let cool slightly before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
Notes
Use a pastry brush for better egg wash coverage.
Add zucchini or bell peppers for extra veggie nutrition.
Avoid overfilling packets to prevent bursting during frying.
Best served immediately for optimal crispiness.
